A lot of homeowners assume servicing is tied to whoever did the original installation, the way a car’s warranty can feel tied to the dealership. It isn’t, and it shouldn’t be. A heat pump is a mechanical and electrical system like any other: it needs a competent, accredited engineer who understands it, not necessarily the company whose logo happens to be on the paperwork.
We service systems we didn’t install as a matter of course, not as an exception we grudgingly accommodate. Our engineers work across most major heat pump and air conditioning brands, and our accreditation and insurance cover the work regardless of the original installer.

No. This is genuinely open to anyone with a ground source or air source heat pump, or an air conditioning system, whoever fitted it originally. Most of our servicing enquiries are for systems we didn’t install.
That’s what the diagnostic visit establishes. A system that’s simply due its annual service is different from one that’s actively underperforming or making noise it shouldn’t, and it’s worth getting it looked at rather than guessing which applies.
Usually not, provided the work is carried out by an MCS-accredited engineer to the manufacturer’s service requirements, which is exactly what we are. Worth checking your specific warranty terms if you’re unsure, but servicing itself isn’t typically tied to the original installer.
