Renewable heating, taken seriously.
We’ve been designing and installing renewable energy systems across the South West since 2009. What’s changed since then is the scale of what we take on: fewer straightforward boiler swaps, more whole-house projects where the heating, solar, battery and controls are designed to work as one system from the outset.
Who we are
One accountable team, not a chain of subcontractors.
Based in South Molton, North Devon, we’re an MCS accredited team supplying, installing, commissioning and servicing renewable energy systems across the South West. That covers ground, air and water source heat pumps, solar PV and battery storage, EV charging, underfloor heating, air conditioning, and Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery.
We’ve assembled an in-house team of designers, plumbers, gas engineers, electricians, roofers and service engineers, so a project stays with one accountable team from first survey through to installation, rather than being handed between subcontractors who’ve never spoken to each other. It’s a slower way to build a company than subcontracting everything out, and it’s the reason systems we install tend to still be running properly a decade later.
How we work
Every project starts with a survey, not a quote.
We look at the property as it actually is: how it’s built, how it’s heated now, how the household uses it, and what the site can support, before recommending anything. A retrofit, a new build, a period property, or a light commercial premises all get the same starting point.
Ground source is where we’ve built the deepest expertise: proper ground investigation, array sizing from real heat loss data, and in-house groundworks rather than subcontracted drilling. It’s also the heat pump technology most installers avoid, which is part of why we lead with it. Air source, our most common install, gets the same rigour: correct sizing against the property’s actual heat loss, not a rule of thumb.
