Most retrofit quotes treat a heat pump like a direct boiler replacement: same pipework, same radiators, same flow temperature, just a different box on the wall. It’s often the fastest way to get a heat pump installed, and it’s usually the reason so many retrofits underperform.
We start from a proper heat-loss survey of the home as it actually is: the walls, the emitters, the way the rooms are used, and where solar, battery and smart-tariff control can genuinely reduce what you pay. Where a straight swap would leave a heat pump labouring to hit an old radiator’s flow temperature, we design the system so it doesn’t have to.
